Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Linda grew up in a large tight-knit family. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Social Work. Linda is passionate about improving the lives of those who are disenfranchised in our community and serves on the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative Board, the Committee to Address Homelessness in Jefferson County-Heading Home, and the Colorado Safe Parking Initiative. She has led or participated in many innovative progressive projects including the Annual Homeless Point in Time Count for the metro Denver region, landlord recruitment for persons experiencing homelessness, the statewide Homeless Management Information System, and the Coordinated Entry- OneHome system for accessing housing opportunities, in addition to being consulted nationally about best practices for ending homelessness.
