The Rev. Bill Kirlin-Hackett has directed the Interfaith Task Force on Homelessness (ITFH) since 2004. The ITFH, fiscally hosted by St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Bellevue, works in King County (and beyond) to “create the political will to end homelessness,” largely via advocacy, education, capacity-building within faith organizations, and direct service. The current ITFH work revolves around persons living in vehicles, and educating around passed State Legislation clarifying the rights of faith organizations to host the homeless on their property. Bill is married to Susan, recently retired as Lutheran clergy. Their son Micah and spouse Ale have 2 children, Noah age 11, Jeremiah age 7, who all live nearby.
