National Vehicle Residency Collective (NVRC) Program Coordinator

Job Description: Program Coordinator (Remote)

Summary:

The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of NVRC’s initiatives. This position is responsible for coordinating various activities with the Working Committee and volunteers, ensuring efficient operations, and providing administrative support to the NVRC team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination: Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of NVRC initiatives as defined by the Working Committee.
  • Scheduling: Manage NVRC Event Calendar, coordinate Zoom logistics, and meeting invites
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the organization at the direction of the Executive Director, including meeting prep, note taking, and record keeping.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication with NVRC meeting participants, volunteers, the Working Committee, stakeholders, and partners via emails, the newsletter, the website, and social media.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve program-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
  • Nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Outreach or grassroots organizing experience is helpful.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite, including Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • Social media management experience a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress a plus.

Hours:

20 hrs a month. Flexible scheduling with required attendance at monthly meetings and Working Committee meetings.

Compensation:

$25/hr, invoiced and paid monthly as a 1099 Contractor or as a direct hire employee through our Fiscal Sponsor, NOPI.
